I have not kept up with this blog, too busy to write and too tired in the evenings. The past 3 stops here were little towns. Buzios and Ilha Grande had no cars, only accessible by small boats. We were tendered off. The scenery reminded us of our home around Victoria, with many islands, of course here tropical flora and warm ocean. The 1st day rained on us in Buzios, just the usual tropical rain that stopped eventually but it stayed overcast and not good visibility for snorkeling. Ilha Grande had a blue lagoon, clear turkoise water with lots of fish. Mostly of smaller size, like sargent fish. Today we visited similar scenery in Parati. Went for a nice swim, then for a walk in the village. This old historic town had the Portuguese architecture, nice small churches, narrow streets "paved" not with cobble stones but large rocks, you had to watch your steps. It was very quaint, no cars, horse and carriages carried tourists around. It was very hot day but fortunately still partially cloudy when we were relaxing in the lounge chairs on our schooner. Tomorrow we will be in Sao Paulo, Santos and Guaruja. We are leaving now , just as Catherine and zi are getting ready for a special dinner.... I still have problems attaching my photos from my phone, this is written on my tsblet. So either email or whatsup will show something I hope.
