Hello from Prague! A wonderful visit to Prague at Xmas time , my 1st time in 45 years ! The weather is cooperating, it is cooler, just above freezing, no snow, but it is sunny ,the city is dressed up for Czech's most favorite holiday of the year! Every square, passage, balconies, hotels are adorned with greenery and decorations. Even trams have Xmas lights! The Xmas trees are for sale at every corner together with large bouquets of gold and silver mistletoes! In a couple of days, the streets will be full of large barrels filled with live carp, that people buy for Xmas eve dinner and keep them in their bathtub at home until that day... There are exhibition of old, various mediums, of nativity scenes in churches halls, many Xmas concerts and street musicians too. I would recommend to visit Prague at this time of the year. My friend and I had a delicious cup of hot chocolate on one of my favorite open roof top bars, overlooking the markets of the old town square and the red roof tops of Prague! Magical! Mike and are are celebrating our 46 th wedding anniversary tomorrow.... how time flies... Mike and I are returning home to Victoria in few days, just arriving to celebrate the holidays at home with our families. We hope you are all well and we wish you all joy and happiness in 2018 ,! Mike and Zora
