Our last port. We psyched ourselves up for a 9 hr excursion. It was very hot but luckily for us, overcast day. We started with a car crash just outside the port in a middle of a large intersection. The young driver did not have driving licence nor ID. He also crashed into a motorcycle , the driver had a minor injury. We had to wait for police and ambulence, we changed buses 3 times but the day progressed without a hitch after that. Buenos Aires is again a very large spread city on the Tiger river delta, making the water very murky. We drove by all the sights, then visited The Recoletta cemetery with family grave for Eva Peron. Then we walked through La Boca neighborhood. Then we boarded a tourist excursion boat on the Tiger river for a very relaxing ride through the river channels and streams, watching the resorts, birds and the flora, amazing pink blossoming aztec silk trees, oleanders, bougenveillasand many others we did not recognized. We stopped at a riverside restaurant that specialized in argentinian meats. We have never seen a steak that huge, thick and large, we estimated at least 42 oz, half a kilo? Of course no one could finish it but it was delicious. And together with never ending rose wine, Cat had shanty. We came beck to the ships, completely exhausted, quick to immerse into the pool. And not hungry for our dinner. We were sad to say goodbye to all the friends we met....
